this trip is for intermediate or better
ski tourers or splitboarders. This means
multiple days of touring and proficiency
with gear and skinning. For many I expect this will be your first trip of the season. I may increase the group size slightly if demand for this trip is high.

The preferred destination is Zoa Peak. Be prepared to walk part of the pipeline road.

The Great Bear weather station shows a HS of 85cm and has recorded 30CM of new snow in the last 36hrs with another 10cm on the way. The FL is expected to be well below 1000m.

Please describe your touring experience, skiing ability, avi training, general fitness, and if you have a winter-ready vehicle and can drive.

All participants are expected to have adequate fitness for a day of touring and good technical ski skills.

This trip will be canceled or re-

avi risk is too high or the weather is
poor.
