Description

The idea is to tour as far as Unnecessary Mtn…on Ski’s and/or Snowshoes….and then come back….should be suitable for Skis or Snowshoers….
Plan is to Park @ Cypress Resort & stay on HSCT.

Gates open @ 7 am so we’d like to be on the Trail by 7:30

Follow the How Sound Crest trail from Cypress via Unnecessary
Mountain to the ridge just before the Lions.

The last part of the way down could be thin snow…. so hiking part way down is likely. Bring a pair of trail runners or similar(& maybe even micro spikes) to make this part more
comfortable
