Description

the itinerary is the classical winter one
(starting via Callaghan biathlon park). the
door of the park open at 8:30am,(and there is a
$15/vehicle access fee) so it will be our
starting time there, and we should return
before 4pm (but please expect we stop in
Squamish on the return) Notice that the portion
up to Hanging lake can be fairly steep.
According to the avi condition, we will
eventually reassess our objective at Hanging
lake. (and overall destination if avi
conditions become very poor)

Description

start for the Callaghan cross country center,
skin up Gin peak by the usual route, and back
via Hanging Lake

It should be a trip at a fairly leisury pace:
beginner and split board welcome,…but AST 1
or equivalent required.

At this time, the weather forecast is not that
great for the week-end, but it seems that it
could be fair on
Saturday, we could revise our option if the
situation evolves.

Please, don’t make firm plan for the evening.
