Lyle Litzenberger will be presenting his book, “Burke and Widgeon – A Hiker’s Guide”, which is loaded with detailed trail descriptions, colour maps and photographs, elevation profiles, GPS data and more – all dealing with these two quite accessible regions of Pinecone-Burke Provincial Park. He will be showing photographic highlights of these two areas and will be talking about a little-known 1990s overland route from Burke to the Widgeon area, that has been re-claimed in recent years. This will be a great opportunity to become better informed about the hiking potential in these two areas of this rugged and very beautiful park.
