Description

From Zopkios Parking lot we will go through underpass and across the maintenance yard to the trail head for needle. Ski up through the trees to the ridge lying W of Needle Peak where there are good views at this height. Ski along the ridge to where we could access the east slopes of Flatiron Mt. the Needle Peak can be reached as a class 2-3 scramble if you are equipped. Or simply ski the slope nearby all weather dependent. Return by the same route down through the trees to the parking lot.
Then drive to the Lodges to check in around 4.30pm
