Plan is to establish a base camp in the Anderson River peaks area (see google map) on Saturday Sept 2nd. From which day trips can go to a variety of Peaks & Sub Groups. Possible intineraries include…… Day 1 (Saturday) Hike Alpaca & Llama…… Day 2 (Sun) Scramble Ibex, Chamois & Anderson or High level traverse & Scramble Gamuza, Steinbok, Ibex Day 3 (Mon) Climb Gemse & or Scramble Reh (highcamp) Day 4 (Tues) Hike Serna & Reh or rest day or ? Day 5 (Wednesday) Hike Serna, & Gamese Day 5 (Thursday ) hike Big Horn. Day 6 (Friday) Scramble Steinbok Day 7 (Saturday) head home The basecamp will be accessible by 2wd. Intent is to structure the camp so partipants can drop in for one or more days to join posted trips or organize their own.
