(a.k.a. “extended”) rappel method. - Rappeling
with tag line. Gibbs knot. Adding extra
backup. - Emergency
rapelling on a single (7mm) tag line. - Creating
extra friction: 1) with extra Reverso and 2
small lockers 2) with 3 small lockers.
PREREQUISITES: Formal alpine
training (a course) + have climbed at least one
alpine route in the past.
