Honouring Bruce Fairley

A member of the Vancouver Section, Bruce Fairley has been
an extraordinarily productive mountaineer for well over 35
years. A talented climber, he has refined his leadership
abilities and
technical skills by participating in hundreds of
mountaineering adventures (many of them related in the
CAJ) in the mountains of Western Canada. His exploratory
trips, his first ascents, his
technical climbs and his discovery of new and challenging
routes have set a very high standard of excellence for future
mountaineers.
