  • This is a challenging scramble in the Coquihalla Summit area, with somewhat challenging route finding in some sections.  Will be expecting to do two rappels (coming off Markhor, and into the Markhor/Needle col).   • Scramble the crater slabs on Crown Mountain. Gear: light harness, a belay device, approach shoes, helmet, headlight. Climbing shoes not mandatory, but recommended. Meet at the Grouse Grind gate at 7 AM.   If we haven’t do a a trip together, please, describe briefly your scrambling experience.

  • Markhor-Needle traverse. Priority will be given to the participants of the Mentorship program. Other participants will be accepted based on experience, and group size. Mandatory gear: Helmet, Footwear with sticky soles, Headlamp, (light) harness, belay device  

  • Currently the event is restricted for the ACC BMC 2024 Cohort. Early morning start – drive on the FSR and then climb up. Car pooling at St. David’s Church. Expected Distance 15 km with elevation gain of 1200 m.
