Trail Run – Lynn Valley / Lower Fromme **no drop**

November 2nd 2025

Description

The weekend forecast looks perfectly wet for a trail run (again). My plan is to spend two hours on the fabulous trails accessible from Lynn Valley. This will be a no-drop run. We will start together and finish together. I’m looking to add base miles and keep the pace easy. Like any good run we will start and finish at a coffee shop hence End of the Line General Store. Starting at End of the Line we’ll run the lovely Varley trail along the banks of Lynn Creek to the Lynn Headwaters parking lot. From there, we’ll get onto the Baden Powell trail going west and make our way up Dreamweaver/Executioner to access 7th Secret. From 7th Secret it’s more or less all downhill. We’ll assess our progress as we go and I’m happy to make adjustments on the fly. For reference, our starting elevation at End of the Line General Store is 180 meters. 7th Secret decent starts at 780 meters.

Equipment: Trail runners, wet weather running gear, hydration vest with gels/snacks if desired. 10 essentials.

I will have a North Shore Trail map and a simple first aid kit.
