Description

This is to see if anyone would still like to climb in Squamish tomorrow, even if there is no ‘official’ Thursday Night Climbing with club ropes/anchors.  We will not have access to the club ropes for this event, so please bring your own rope and anchor material if you have them. We will need 1 rope per 2 people.

We will be climbing at one of the crags in the Smoke Bluffs or Murrin Park that offer climbs with a wide range of difficulties and opportunities for lead climbing and top-roping. Currently there is no rain in the forecast for Thursday. If the weather turns out to be such that rock climbing is not possible, this event will get cancelled on Thursday morning. We meet at 4pm in the parking lot of St. David’s church at the Taylor Way exit of Hwy 1. From there we carpool to Squamish, the Smoke Bluffs or Murrin Park, the decision where to go is made around 4pm at the carpool location. If you like to meet us in Squamish directly please send a text to the organizer (289-880-3426) before 4pm to find out where we are going. I can also post in the ACC Thursday Night Climbing Whatsapp group the location of the crag where we are going.

Necessary Equipment: climbing harness, helmet, belay device, climbing shoes, rope and anchor material if possible.
