Description
Please take a moment and read all the
details
of this trip:)
Albeit the freezing levels are quite low, we can
get some nice runs in this area as it gets us
reasonably fast over 1500m.
The tree skiing might not be that fun, with the
low snow pack that we have in the Duffey, but
there is enough open terrain to have some fun:)
At the same time, if conditions require
(weather or AVI forecast, the actual destination
might change).
There is the option to join forces with another
group going to Mt Rohr, in order to be
more efficient at trail-breaking, so you must be
comfortable with a longer trip in
that case(16km and 1200m elevation).
This is a trip for intermediate and
advanced BC
skiers only. We won’t do any crazy chutes
but
you should be able to ski black runs under
any
type of conditions
Please do not signup if you are not able
to
break trail in rotation, if conditions
require
that, of course.
Total distance: around 10-12km
Elevation gain: around 900m
