Description

This is a four-day comprehensive medical course
designed for outdoor professionals or
wilderness leaders who venture into the remote
backcountry and challenging environments. This
course introduces how to manage medical
emergencies when hospitals and rescue services
may not be available for an extensive time
period.

Upon completion, students will receive
certification in Wilderness Advanced First Aid
and Adult CPR, which are valid for 3 years.

This course will be taught by a Wilderness
Medical Associates’ professional with
significant patient care and backcountry
experience through Mountain Skills Academy &
Adventures (MSAA). The course is for ACC
members only, at a discounted price of $399.00. An early bird discount is available for anyone registering before June 2, 2017.
MSA applies.

Please note, this course requires a minimum of
6 participants to run. In the event that fewer
than 6 participants sign up, MSAA will attempt
to fill remaining spots with members of the
general public. If minimum numbers cannot be
met prior to the course date, the course will
be rescheduled or a refund provided to
participants.
