Description
Jason Kruk, (jasonkruk.net/blog) full-time
adventurer, ACGM Assistant
Alpine Guide, rigger for the arts and
entertainment
industry and Vice-President of CASBC – the
provincial climbers advocacy group will be
presenting. Jason is a climber always inspired by
the big mountains which has led to first ascents
in the Waddington Range as well as Patagonia.
From a humble beginning at age nine in the dusty
climbing gym in North Vancouver to the top of some
of the hardest summits in Patagonia, the only
constant for Jason has been the singular appeal of
the perfect line. That perfect granite boulder,
desert splitter crack, or 5000′ mixed alpine face.
Jason talks about his motivation, unique
strategies, and the benefit of modest talent to
success in the sport of alpine climbing.
